Raymond Ramnarine was vorige week in Nederland voor twee uitverkochte shows, een in Amsterdam en een in Den Haag. De Hindoestanen be like-crew was aanwezig bij het concert in Amsterdam en zag hoe Raymond het publiek meenam met zijn Caraïbische vibes. Samen met zangers Stephen Marcelle en Vijai Ramkissoon zorgde hij voor een onvergetelijke show. Hij sloot de avond af met een speciale samenwerking met onze eigen Shivam Rajaram uit Nederland.
Raymond, die bekendstaat om zijn charismatische optredens en indrukwekkende stem, deelde het podium met getalenteerde zangers zoals Stephen Marcelle en Vijai Ramkissoon. “Het is altijd geweldig om twee uitverkochte shows te hebben.” vertelt hij enthousiast. “Maar het mooiste is toch mijn fans voor me te hebben. Ik hou van hen met heel mijn hart.”
Hij straalde bij het terugdenken aan de shows en benadrukte dat “elk moment bijzonder was”. Vooral de immense liefde en energie van het publiek lieten een diepe indruk achter. “Het Nederlandse publiek heeft altijd de meeste vibes.” zegt hij lachend. “Door de jaren heen hebben we een sterke band opgebouwd. Ze zitten vol energie, en dat geeft mij een enorme boost op het podium.”
Hoewel zijn schema strak was, heeft Raymond door de jaren heen Nederland goed leren kennen. “Ik had niet veel tijd om te verkennen.” geeft hij toe, “maar Nederland is zeker een van mijn favoriete landen ter wereld.”
Over zijn samenwerking met Shivam Rajaram was hij vol lof. “Shivam is een jonge, veelbelovende ster.” zegt Raymond. “We hebben veel respect en liefde voor elkaar, en ik denk dat de fans ons samen geweldig vinden op het podium.” Fans kunnen uitkijken naar meer optredens samen, want Raymond bevestigt: “Ja, zeker! Blijf ons volgen.”
Met deze twee shows heeft Raymond Ramnarine opnieuw bewezen waarom hij een van de grootste artiesten uit de Caraïbische muziekwereld is. Zijn connectie met het Nederlandse publiek is sterker dan ooit, en de verwachting voor toekomstige optredens en samenwerkingen is torenhoog. Eén ding is zeker: Raymond blijft harten veroveren, zowel op het podium als daarbuiten.

“It’s always amazing to have two sold-out shows.” he said enthusiastically. “But the best part is having my fans in front of me. I love them with all my heart.”
Beaming as he reminisced about the performances, he emphasized that “every moment was special.” The immense love and energy from the audience left a lasting impression on him. “The Dutch audience always has the most vibes.” he said with a smile. “Over the years, we’ve built a strong connection. They’re full of energy, and that gives me a huge boost on stage.”
Although his schedule was tight, Raymond has grown familiar with the Netherlands over the years. “I didn’t have much time to explore.” he admitted, “but the Netherlands is definitely one of my favorite countries in the world.”
Speaking about his collaboration with Shivam Rajaram, he was full of praise. “Shivam is a young, promising star.” Raymond said. “We have a lot of respect and love for each other, and I think the fans love seeing us together on stage.” Fans can look forward to more performances together, as Raymond confirmed, “Yes, definitely!
